WHAT YOU GET FOR $299

Every car deal
is an iceberg.

You negotiate the tip. They make their money below the waterline — on the trade, the rate and the add-ons, in the finance office twenty minutes after you have relaxed.

A car deal is four numbers. You only see one of them. WHAT YOU SEE The price −$1,750 the one number most buyers negotiate WHAT YOU DON’T Trade-in+$1,000 Finance rate+$1,100 Add-ons+$1,300 +$3,400 SIGNED BACK ON
Above the line: what you negotiate at the desk. Below it: what is settled in the finance office, after the handshake.

Negotiate $1,750 off the price, then give $3,400 of it back. You are $1,650 behind, and you drove home feeling like you won.

That is why your Deal Report prices all four numbers. The price pages are where you set the line. The finance-office sheet is how you hold it: every product they will offer on this car, what each one actually costs, and the line that does most of the work — if you did not ask for it, you do not have to pay for it, even if it is already on the car.

Across all four numbers, this deal has $5,150 of leverage — more than 17× our fee.

Illustrative: a $38,000 used SUV, financed, with a $12,000 trade-in, scored by the BuySense model. Your numbers will be your own.

Why it adds up: dealers made a record $2,627 per car in the finance office in Q1 2026 (Haig Partners). A marked-up loan rate costs the median borrower $647 (MIT, 21.4M loans). GAP insurance is marked up 151% on average (NCLC).

The verdict, in writing.

The actual words and the actual numbers — in a report built for your vehicle, your dealer and your market, delivered within 24 hours.

②  WHEN THEY COUNTER

“I’m not going to bid against myself. Show me what’s driving your number and I’ll look at it. If we can land at $67,000 with everything in, I’ll sign today.”

“I’m not adding anything to this deal today. Please print the contract at the price we agreed, with no products on it. If I want a service contract later, I’ll buy it then.”

Four steps. One answer.

You are not buying more research. You are buying the end of it.

STEP 1
Send your VIN
The car you found, and the dealer you found it at. Sixteen questions, about four minutes — nothing to pay to start.
STEP 2
See if you qualify, free
Answer 16 questions and we score your deal in points across the price, your trade, the rate and the add-ons. 2,990 points or more means at least 10× the $299 fee in negotiating leverage. Below that, you pay nothing.
STEP 3
Your report arrives
Built for your exact car and emailed to you within 24 hours — same day if you order before 12 noon PST.
STEP 4
Walk in certain
Walk out with a deal you can defend — or walk away knowing exactly why.

What happens after you click: you answer sixteen questions about the car and the dealer → we score the deal in points across all four numbers → at 2,990 points or more (10× the $299 fee), you pay $299 by Stripe on the last step and your report lands in your inbox within 24 hours. Under 2,990, you see your score and pay nothing. Card details go straight to Stripe — they are never held by us.

WE FIND THIS FIRST

Before we take your $299 we have to find at least $2,990 of leverage in your deal — ten times what the report costs. Dealers made a record $2,627 per car in the finance office alone in Q1 2026, before the price or your trade. If your deal doesn’t clear the bar, you see your number and pay nothing.

Why I Built BuySense.ai

Niten Luthra  ·  Founder

I’m Niten. Long before this was a product it was the model and script I built for myself, over 25 years and 65 car purchases. When I bought my own 2023 Porsche Macan GTS, I ran my own report, walked in certain of what to say and what to pay, and went under my target price.

If it didn’t work on my own six-figure purchase, you wouldn’t be reading this.

GOT QUESTIONS?

Frequently Asked Questions

BuySense is new, and the first hundred reports matter more to us than the margin on them — they are how we build a public record of what buyers actually achieve. So the first 100 reports are $299 rather than the standard $399. Once those are delivered, the price goes to $399 for everyone. Nothing about the report itself changes; you simply get it while it is 25% cheaper.
You still see your score, free. We score your deal in points across all four numbers — the price, your trade, the rate and the add-ons. Under 2,990 points, the deal doesn’t clear 10× our $299 fee, so we tell you the report isn’t worth buying for this deal, and you pay nothing.
The form is sixteen questions and takes about four minutes — your VIN, the listing, your trade and how you are paying. We score your deal and show you the number first. If it clears 10× our fee, on the final step you pay $299 by Stripe, one time, per vehicle. No account, no subscription, and your card details go directly to Stripe rather than to us. We check the vehicle is one we cover before you reach the payment step, so you are never charged for a car we cannot report on. Your report is then built for that exact vehicle and emailed to you within 24 hours — same day if you order before 12 noon PST.
Our price targets are based on 65 real car purchases, expert guidance from a network of professionals in the business and our own proprietary scoring model. They are intelligence estimates — not guarantees. Real world outcomes depend on the dealer, the market and your negotiating approach.
Yes. Your submission data is used solely to generate your report. We do not sell, share or pass your information to any third party including dealers, manufacturers or data brokers.
Your report is valid for 5 calendar days from its generation date. Car pricing moves with the market — manufacturer incentives, comparable inventory and days-on-lot all shift week to week — so a report reflects conditions at the moment it is built. After 5 days those numbers may no longer hold. If you have not closed in that window, email niten@buysense.ai to request a regeneration; your first refresh is free.
Walking away is your single greatest source of leverage — and your report is built around it. You get a firm walk-away number decided before you sit down, plus specific guidance on when to walk, when to wait, and how to make comparable cars at other dealers compete on an out-the-door basis so no single dealer holds all the power. A dealer who knows you have other options negotiates very differently from one who assumes you don’t.
BuySense covers new and pre-owned vehicles of every major brand sold through franchised dealerships. Private seller transactions involve different dynamics and we do not currently support them.
Yes. A trade-in is one of the easiest places to lose money, because dealers blend it into the purchase price so you cannot see where the money is actually moving. Your report shows you how to set a floor for your trade — a written offer from a one-price buyer such as CarMax or Carvana — and how to keep the trade negotiation completely separate from the price of the car you are buying. Settle the out-the-door price first, then handle the trade as its own number.
All major brands — new, certified pre-owned and pre-owned — at franchised brand dealerships, 2015 model year and newer. What we do not cover: private sellers, independent lots, vehicles older than 2015, and supercars — for example Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren and Porsche GT models.

That boundary is deliberate. Our dealer-side scoring reads floorplan cost, days on lot, holdback and manufacturer incentive structure — mechanisms that only exist inside a franchised dealership. On an independent lot there is no invoice, no holdback and no incentive programme to read, so there is nothing for the model to work with. We would rather be exact where the data is real than approximate everywhere.

On newer vehicles the dealer-side read carries most of the leverage. On a 2015–2019 car there is less structure to read, so the weight shifts to comparable inventory, the condition checklist and the finance office — which is where most of the money on an older car moves anyway.

You drive away certain,
or you don’t drive away.

What to say. What to pay. When to walk away.
